About Mel!
Hey my name is Mel, my day job is Graphic Designer and boy do I love my “job” I love it so much that you cant really call it a job but as much as I love it my down time is mainly spent Illustrating.
My husband has spent many years telling me I should take my illustrating more seriously and I should consider selling my print’s, fast forward far too many years and here we are.
All of the work is illustrated by me, in my studio nestled in the heart of Yorkshire in a tiny picture postcard village called Cawthorne, its lush!
I am incompetent wife to the ever so patient Mr Chambers, mum of 3 kiddos, my two boys Robert and Henry and the apple of my eye my daughter Violet. Our family also extends to two lovely doggos and two pussy cats too.
My Inspirational woman Portrait print range is inspired by my daughter and my belief that she should feel like she is capable of anything. Each of the people I carefully select to add is someone who inspires me and whom I hope will inspire my little lady and yours too.
I am hoping to add some animal illustrations to my range and much much more soon so keep an eye out.
